ADASCO: six decades of excellence in Ada Foah
Established in 1961, Ada Senior High School continues to combine strong academics, vibrant clubs, and a clear mission to form responsible leaders.
Located in Ada Foah in the Ada East District of the Greater Accra Region, Ada Senior High School has been a pillar of secondary education for more than six decades. Founded in 1961, the school serves students from diverse backgrounds under the motto Onward Ever Onward.
ADASCO offers pathways including General Arts, General Science, Business, Visual Arts, Home Economics and Agricultural Science, supported by science and computer laboratories, a library, sports grounds and an auditorium.
Beyond the classroom, students take part in football, basketball, volleyball, music and drama, debate, science and maths clubs, and cultural groups. The school’s record includes strong WASSCE performance, competition wins in science and mathematics, and alumni succeeding in medicine, engineering, law, business and public service.
Its mission remains clear: a supportive, inclusive learning environment that helps every learner reach their potential — and prepares responsible, innovative leaders for Ghana and the world.
